Glamping in Israel: the new, luxurious way to really enjoy Israel!

Glamping in Israel is the newest and quite possibly most inspirational way of truly enjoying a visit to Israel!

It might be the new kid on the block, but glamping offers a truly unique alternative to the predictable hotel experience. Because hey, hotels are alright, but if you want to have an experience that stays with you forever, try glamping in Israel…

But “glamping”? What the heck is glamping??

Glamping is short for glamorous camping, and is a great new way of exploring the great outdoors a little more, well, glamorously. It’s a new method of traveling that has steadily grown over the last few years and looks like it is going to be big the world over – and of course, with all that amazing scenery and great weather, Israel is perfect for some glamping!

Glamping ensures a great level of service that really does focus on the traveler and his/her comfort. If you’re familiar with some of the awesome sites for camping in Israel you’ll know that camping might be a great way to stay in touch with the locals and nature, but glamping brings an amazing new level of service and amenities to die for! Oh yes, no more struggling with those tent poles, or noisy neighbors to suffer sleepless nights from…

Where can I glamp in Israel?

We work with the best glamping specialists in Israel, and they typically set up their glamping sites according to customer demand, but concentrate on spots hidden to most tourists in the Negev desert and the magical Ramon Crater.

The camps can be customized according to order, while there are typically TWO levels of glamping to choose from (although each level can be customized according to your requirements – just note that between December-February it is just too cold to camp outside in the desert!), with rates starting from 2800 shekels a night for a maximum of six people in two tents:

Deluxe Glamping: This level includes amazing dome-shaped tents, quality mattress-bedding, hot showers and restroom cells. Expect the cooking to be a sumptuous desert feast (think along the lines of amazing Bedouin or Druze food, or an open fire African Poike pot stew)!

Rustic Glamping: This level includes canvas tents, with a more basic, rustic campsite. Restrooms are optional.

Both levels include a nice, shady area with cushions, tables and lamps for after-hours. There are also dining tables for under-the-stars dining, with a camp fire surrounded by chairs and mats for true comfort. You can be served gourmet food (vegan options are available), or self-cooking is also possible.

You can also choose to expand on your camping experience with jeep tours, rappelling down the sheer cliff of the Ramon Crater, hikes, desert stargazing, and so on. The ball is in your court as to how unforgettable you really want your glamping experience – but after a day of adventure in the desert, heading back to camp for some pampering is one heck of a way to enjoy the desert!
