Some 1.14 million tourists visited Israel in the first quarter of 2019 – that’s a hefty increase of 14% over last year’s same quarter!
The Central Bureau of Statistics are now estimating that tourism to Israel in 2019 will hit some 4.7 million visitors (it’s now officially a little less, but still a record breaker!). That’s a pretty hefty hike up from 2018’s record breaking year (4.12 million tourists – which in turn was a hike up on 2017’s record-breaking year!).
We say get ourselves over here pronto, there’s so many great things to see and do over here. With Eurovision just around the corner, another record-breaking Pride week expected, and a looong summer of awesome events and concerts (including return concerts from Israel devotees Bon Jovi and Tears for Fears), you’re going to have a hard time deciding what doesn’t make your wish-list!
