Desert Days Ecolodge in the Negev

If you’re looking for something a little bit special, and just that little bit different, head for Desert Days Ecolodge in the heart of the Negev Desert.

DesertDaysEcoLodgeLocated practically in the middle of the south (1 hour from Eilat, 1 hour from the Dead Sea, and 1 hour from Mitzpe Ramon), the Desert Days ecolodge complex actually consists of 9 eco huts, all built by hand by owners Rinat and Yair.

These cute little huts are built according to eco construction principles, with each sustainable hut being built from home-made mud bricks, straw, and a mud plaster finish.

The eco huts are perfectly suited for the desert and with each hut able to accommodate six people, could be the perfect desert getaway…

Each eco hut has a low double bed with 2 extra mattresses which can be lowered, a sitting area (with 2 additional mattresses), a “coffee corner”, a shower with constant hot water, an ecological toilet (of the composting type), and a private yard with a bonfire area, supplied with wood. There’s also a well-equipped communal kitchen available for use by all guests.

What might be the clincher is the uninterrupted view of the Negev desert, thus ensuring a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Oh, and the small refreshing desert pools (three in total), perfect for summer AND winter!
