The much-loved Opera in the Park in Tel Aviv is back for the summer of 2018!
This year sees Verdi’s famous opera Nabucco take to the stage at HaYarkon Park on 9th August. The action kicks off at 8:30 pm.
To give you an idea of what to expect (though let’s be honest, most of you are only going there to chill out and drink some wine): the opera showcases King Nebuchadnezzar who destroys the temple in Jerusalem and exiles the Israelites to Babylon where they sing the immortal slave chorus.
As in previous years, expect a pretty huge crowd for this one, mainly because it’s FREE! Seriously, bring yourself some of that wine we mentioned, one of those nice wee fold-up chairs, and just enjoy yourselves!
