In a project that has repurposed an old iconic office building, Dan Hotels is set to open an exciting new concept hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv.
The innovative Link Hotel and Hub is aimed at the next generation of business traveler and tourists. With a hint in its name, the Link is designed to create a lasting connection for the traveler and the city, “linking” contemporary hotel design, Tel Aviv’s vibrant social scene, street art and advanced technology.
Located on Shaul Ha’melech Boulevard, it is close to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Opera House, Rabin Square and the popular Sarona Market, and also conveniently located between two major train stations.
The eight-floor hotel with 94 guestrooms, co-working space “the hub” and meeting rooms of various sizes is the first of a new brand by Dan Hotels. With an urban atmosphere in relaxed and attractive surroundings, the hotel will showcase local artistic talent with remarkable pieces throughout the property.
Collaborating with 12 of Tel Aviv’s street artists brings an energetic street art vibe into the hotel. Artistic Director, internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary artist Daniel Siboni, has assigned a unique work of street art to each floor, including the corridors, guestrooms and public areas. All the art displayed in the hotel is for sale, from the 20×20 cm “Instagram like” pictures on display in the Hub, to the 200×300 cm original artwork exhibited around the hotel. Guests can enjoy the unique graffiti atmosphere of Tel Aviv in every area of the hotel and can take back with them the contemporary atmosphere of a vibrant Tel Aviv.
The Hub section, situated on the lower level of the building with 700m² of space, includes the Kitchen & Bar, shared worktables, games and a 9ft pool table. The variety of seating options and breakout meeting rooms, allows for all kinds of team or individual work to readily flow in a creative environment.
Following on from the initial opening this summer (2018), the Link App will be launched and become each guest’s vital companion during their entire stay in Tel Aviv. To keep up to date with the needs of the modern traveler, guests at The Link will perform many actions through the Link App, such as check-in and check-out, entering the guest room, ordering food, controlling the lights, air-conditioning and operating the TV. The App will be loaded with up to date information on the latest happenings around the city, from museum exhibitions to the latest night
In addition, the hotel will offer a fitness complex, complete with personal trainers and massage rooms, all bookable via the App.
With the opening of the Link, Dan Hotels, the first to open a luxury grade hotel in Tel Aviv back in 1948, continues pioneering and pathing the way for greater innovative travel ideas to the city.
