The Coronavirus may still be raging across the world, but this July, easyJet will be flying five weekly flights between London (Luton) and Tel Aviv!
Up until that point, easyJet operated two daily flights between Tel Aviv and Luton, but only five weekly flights are scheduled for this month, as part of an overall ramping up process across Europe from the low-cost carrier.
The restrictions imposed by various governments, including those in Israel (see here for details on when flights to Israel will resume), make flights a limited option. For example, in Israel no foreigners are allowed into Israel until at least August 1, while Israelis returning from abroad have to do the 14-day self-isolation.
But… there are some flights still landing in Tel Aviv. Air France and Swiss have restarted flights from Paris and Zurich over the past few days and other carriers flying regularly to Israel include Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Air Europe, Aeroflot, Wizz Air, Ryanair, Aegean, Air Canada, and Delta, plus United and Ethiopian Airlines who have been flying throughout the crisis.
