With the Coronavirus still wreaking havoc across the world (click HERE for the latest Corona-related travel updates for Israel) and international travel still very much restricted, it’s time for the locals – and those stuck in Israel for now – to look a little closer to home for a vacation. And where better to escape all that stress and worry than the Red Sea resort of Eilat!
Just to make things a little more enticing, the newly opened and budget-licious Low Cost Popup Hotel Eilat might just be the perfect answer for your accommodation woes. Because let’s face it, finding a decent, budget-friendly option in Eilat during the peak summer months has previously been nigh on impossible!
Thanks to the guys at Low Cost Popup Hotel you can now enjoy a great low-cost hotel in Eilat for as little as 450 shekels per room per night! Perfect for recharging the batteries!
I’m not sure how they do it so cheaply, but this is a temporary popup hotel (we didn’t know such a thing existed but hey, these are crazy times!). It’s primary aim is to attract those of you who might be typically dissauded from Eilat in the summer thanks to its notoriously high accomodation options.
Yes yes, if you were thinking of foreign climes, or perhaps just a quick hop over the border to the wonderful beaches of Sinai, Eilat is probably the best alternative out there for those of you currently in Israel…
And the Low Cost Popup Hotel Eilat really was made for the budget-conscious traveler in mind, be it families looking to get away from it all for a few days, Sinai lovers, or just plain ol’ water sports enthusiasts who can’t get enough of the Red Sea! This is a great place to base yourselves, and seriously, if you’re interested in checking out the delights of the coral reef in the area, this is your chance to do it cost-effectively…
As you can see from the pics in this post, the hotel comes well-equipped with everything you need, including a great swimming pool. There’s definitely a young vibe here, but it’s certainly not cheap and nasty and comes family-friendly (kids are very welcome!). The hotel rooms have recently been completely renovated, and look pretty damn decent – we’ll be checking their rooms out in the next few days so stay tuned!!
And, of course, despite Corona’s best efforts, Eilat still has some great things to explore, especially if you’re into getting some sun (don’t forget, Vitamin D is thought to give a major boost to your immune system!), snorkeling or diving – or just fancy escaping as far as you can from the center of Israel without leaving its borders!
