Jamaican reggae legend Don Carlos is heading to the Holy Land!
The Kingston-born reggae star will be performing at Tel Aviv’s Barby Club on October 6th. Tickets will be between 160-180 shekels, which is a very decent price to see one of music’s real old-school stars, a living musical legend. Click here for tickets, or call 03-5107070.
If you needed convincing of his pedigree, Don started singing in the mid-60s and was part of the original trio that formed reggae greats Black Uhuru. After leaving them after just two years he later returned to front the band in perhaps their greatest (and Grammy nominated) period, 1989-1994.
Don Carlos is certainly one of Reggae’s biggest names, and has been touring most of his life, but this is his first visit to Israel. He’ll be here as part of promotions for his latest album Changes.
Here he is, in a great “money and women are the root of all problems” moment…Yah man, time to chill!
