2C, or not 2C, that is the question

If you’re looking for a restaurant with the most stunning view of Tel Aviv, it has to be 2C, located on the 49th floor of the round Azrieli Tower. It has a decent menu, with some fancy little dishes to get your juices flowing, but the real winner here is the view…just be sure to get a window seat!

I’ve been there a couple of times, and been quietly impressed with the food. Not mind-blowing, but I’m not such a connoisseur of fine and fancy living, I’m more of a shwarma and shakshuka man. But don’t think that 2C doesn’t have a great menu, because it does have some great cuisine to offer, if a little on the expensive side (that’ll be down to the location, location, location). Take a look at these two little descriptions and tell me you’re not salivating…

Goose Liver Ravioli Served in a Light Creamy Truffle Sauce

Or how about:

Tataki roll of Beef Tenderloin coated in fresh herbs, served on pineapple carpaccio and accompanied by a baby leaf salad

Oh yes. Certainly some fine Mediterranean-gourmet cuisine can be found at 2C. It’s also kosher for the observant among you. You also don’t have to sit and have a full meal – I’m sure they’re quite used to people coming just for the view and taking pictures while dining over a full glass of coke. But they do have some nice little eats that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

All in all, not quite the killer location of a Manta Ray, but almost certainly one of the best views in town.

2C is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 to 24:00.
