It’s that time of the year (the best time of the year?) when we’re post school holidays, post August and post packed beaches – so, of course, time for a freebie!
If you love your music, and are partial to a bit of guitar-pumping Israeli indie/ pop (Supergrass soundalikes, perhaps even a little Clash in there…), you could do a lot worse than get your hands on the debut CD from Electra (who we think should be huge!). They are one of the liveliest bands we’ve seen in Israel, and we’ve seen a few.
Best bit is they sing in English, and have some great cover songs (I Feel Love, The Israelites, World Shut Your Mouth…) in their repetoire.
So, in honor of the best month of the year, we are giving away not only their debut CD Heartbreaks for Fools, but also their cover song EP CD Songs They Taught, which has six covers on it, including the three above! All wrapped up in their plastic wrappings, thanks to the kind guys at Anova Music.
