“Mini Art” as it’s known was developed to be a traveling exhibition worldwide, and now heads to the ultimate winter resort, where it will take up residence in Eilat’s newly renovated Art Gallery!
The exhibition runs from August 16th – December 31.
Watch out for some amazing miniature works by artists from Israel and abroad. Each exhibit item represents an entire world that creates a different kind of viewing experience, unique and intimate.
The exhibition will also be hosting the well-known micro artist Hasan Kale from Turkey. His works will be displayed starting from August 21st. Hasan Kale tries to interpret miniature art with a contemporary eye; he paints on objects we see, but would typically ignore in our daily lives such as rice, a nail, a silk cocoon, a needle, a butterfly wing and many others, as he puts it: “Things we usually see can turn into something invisible.”
The exhibition includes a number of additional divisions, among them: a group exhibition of miniature artworks in cooperation with Eilat’s artists under the artistic direction of Amir Elkayam, collections of miniatures, models of theater sets, mini-dolls, dollhouses and more.
