The legendary Beach Boys have confirmed (according to local press) they will be performing in Tel Aviv this November!
It’s been one of those long-rumored, on-the-cards gigs for some time, but it now looks like it’s happening – the concert is scheduled for November 29 at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv!
This will be the Beach Boys first ever concert in Israel, though we have to point out that only one of the original lineup will be here, Mike Love. The genius behind the band, Brian Wilson, was part of the reunion tour a couple of years ago, but has since embarked on his solo career. The lineup performing in Israel in November will feature Love and Bruce Johnston, who joined the Beach Boys in the mid 1960s, and five other musicians.
The band were first formed at the start of the 1960s, and went on to wow the world with hits like I Get Around, Surfin’ U.S.A., and California Girls. Their 1966 album Pet Sounds is considered by many to be the best pop album ever.
Tickets are thought to start at 390 shekels, but as soon as we get more details we’ll publish them here!
And, of course, here’s a taste…
