The annual Dijeridu Festival returns to the heart of the desert!

Israel Didgeridoo FestivalIf you’re on the hunt for something a little bit different in terms of music festivals, head to the now annual Dijeridu Festival (also spelt Didgeridoo, by the way), deep in the heart of the desert!

This amazing three day festival hosts some world-class dijeridu artists, and together with its location in the middle of the Negev desert, this is one not to miss!

A truly unique festival so perfect for the quiet, wide expanse of the desert, expect to get acquainted with tribal music and the raw energy of this amazing instrument. Expect also to boogie to some amazing organic trance, while for the more curious, try one of a number of workshops to get fully hands-on with a dijeridu.

This year, the festival takes place over 5-7 September over the New Year holiday, and will be located at Ashram Desert in the south of the country (actually in Shittim, on Road 40 on the way to Eilat).

Ticket prices start at 310 shekels for the full 3 days, with special deals for family tickets. Call 054-2707762 for more details, or see the official site (Hebrew only unfortunately).
