Skunk Anansie, one of the biggest British bands of the 90s, have just announced they will be performing in Israel this summer!
The confirmed date is August 20, and they will be performing at the Amphi Shuni, next to Zichron Yaakov (about 45 minutes from Tel Aviv). Tickets are priced at 249-289 shekels – for more info call *9080.
UPDATE: The band have now added a second date due to demand – August 21!
The band, who split up in 2001 after a string of hits during the 90s, including Secretly and Weak, reformed in 2009 much to the delight of their many fans, many of whom reside in Israel!
This won’t be their first visit, as they performed in Israel some 15 years ago.
