80s legend Cyndi Lauper will be performing a concert in Tel Aviv in January 2014!
One of pop’s more colorful characters (her hair will testify to that!), Cyndi Lauper was a true superstar in the 80s with hits like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, She Bop, and True Colors. She may have hit 60 this year, but there’s no question she’s still got it: for example, earlier in 2013, she became the first artist in over 25 years to top the dance charts with a Broadway single (from the much acclaimed Kinky Boots show, which she composed).
This will be her first concert here, which is forming part of her world tour celebrating 30 years of amazing music!
The concert will take place at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, on January 4. Tickets range from 199 to 999 shekels, and are available online here.
