If you’re looking for something a little bit different, how about the amazing exhibition of sand sculptures that will be on display in Tel Aviv during July-August 2013…
Perfect for those of you missing the beach, or even for those of you with kids, the amazing Fairy-tales in the Sand exhibition (this is its second year) will feature a whole range of unique sand sculptures featuring Biblical figures (David and Goliath, the crossing of the Red Sea, King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, and Jonah and the whale), and characters from children’s stories, including The Little Prince, The Three Musketeers, Peter and the Wolf, Tarzan, and Alice in Wonderland! There will also be Superhero characters to goggle at, such as Iron Man and Spider Man!
Located at the Eretz Israel Museum (also hosting this amazing Wildlife Photography exhibition during the summer), and set in the idyllic gardens of the museum, this is one exhibition that looks a must-see!
The exhibition takes place during the evening only, from 19:00 – 23:00, and the sculptures will be lit up to amaze and wow you. Tickets, as far as we can tell, are priced at the typical museum entrance fee rates:
- Adult – 42 shekels (38 shekels for Tel Aviv residents)
- Student/Soldier – 28 shekels
- Children under 18 – FREE (under 13s must be accompanied by an adult)
The exhibition takes place from July 1 – August 26, and the museum is located at 2 Haim Levanon St., Ramat Aviv, in Tel Aviv.
