After previous very successful International Jerusalem Marathons, which has seen some 20,000 runners from more than 54 nations taking part, the 2025 Jerusalem Marathon has been set for April 4, a week or so before the holiday of Passover (another reason to visit!)!
As in previous events, there are a number of options to choose from, including a full marathon, a half-marathon and a 10K run – all of which pass through Jerusalem’s unique landscape, rich in history, religion and culture.
In addition to the longer distance races, there is also a 4.2 run open to the general public and a 800 meter run named “Running for a Cause”, in which thousands of runners – families, children and youth – raise money through sponsorship for various charities.

And if you’re in the mood, why not tackle the Tel Aviv Marathon!
