After last year’s very successful (and third) International Jerusalem Winner Marathon, which had some 20,000 runners from more than 54 nations taking part, the 2014 Jerusalem Marathon has been set for March 21, 2014!
As in previous events, there are a number of options to choose from, including a full marathon, a half-marathon and a 10K run – all of which pass through Jerusalem’s unique landscape, rich in history, religion and culture.
In addition to the longer distance races, there is also a 4.2 run open to the general public and a 800 meter run named “Running for a Cause”, in which thousands of runners – families, children and youth – raise money through sponsorship for various charities.
For further details and to register, see the official site.
And if you’re in the mood, why not tackle the Tel Aviv Marathon, which takes place on February 28!
