Legendary REM guitarist Peter Buck will be performing next weekend, March 24, at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv!
He won’t be bringing Michael Stipe with him unfortunately, but he will be performing with iconic British singer/songwriter Robyn Hitchcock (who was here last year for two widely acclaimed gigs) as part of the 25 year celebrations by Israeli media company Ozen HaShlishit – The Third Ear.
The celebrations, officially called The Long Weekend, run from March 22-24, and there’ll be plenty to see if you love music and film…Peter Buck in Israel is definitely one of the highlights, and he’ll be performing together with Robyn Hitchcock as part of the Venus 3 band. Also lined up is a show from Israeli band Rockfour and a screening of the Cameron Crowe documentary about Pearl Jam called Twenty.
If you’re a budding guitarist, the scheduled masterclass sessions with both Buck and Hitchcock sound like a must-do!
