Moby and Jane’s Addiction coming to Israel for a Pic.nic

This year’s Pic.nicĀ festival kicks off next week, with Moby the first big name to hit the stage!

Moby, now 45, has been a big player in the electro music scene ever since his first hit back in 1991, Go. And if you love your beats, there’s a good chance you’ve got his Play album in your collection (we have), an album that went on to sell some 10 million copies.

90s rockers Jane’s Addiction will also be coming to take part inĀ the Pic.nic festivities, though you’ll have to wait til 1st September to catch them performing their new album, The Great Escape ArtistĀ (and hopefully a few of their oldies).

The originally billed Duran Duran have cancelled their participation due to Simon Le Bon’s vocal problems, but hopefully we’ll see them here later in the year.

The Pic.nic festival is actually a series of three concerts over the summer, all held at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds venue. For info regarding tickets, call *9066.
