In an interview with local press today, Lenny Kravitz confirmed he’ll be coming to Israel for the first time ever in 2012!
UPDATE: Lenny has done us proud and confirmed a 6th October date in Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park Nokia Arena (venue changed)! Tickets are priced at between 360 and 900 shekels. For more information call *8780.
But while his heart might be in the right place (don’t forget, he’s quarter Jewish!), there is still no confirmation of a date or tickets – which we’ll get to you as soon as we get them!
He was originally scheduled to perform in Israel back in 2007 but pulled the plug on the show, apparently after some political pressure on him from the usual sources…let’s hope he can overcome any pressures if a gig is confirmed, as Israel would sure love to see Lenny Kravitz perform here!
Lenny, mate, between you and me, don’t make it May, because the bank manager of many a local isn’t going to be happy – just look at who else is here in May!
