The legendary keyboardist Rick Wakeman, formerly of Yes, will be performing a concert in Tel Aviv in January!
Born in West London, Wakeman is primarily known for his keyboard work with British legends Yes (he has been in and out of the band on no less than FIVE occasions, starting in 1971 and ending in 2008 – and when he didn’t want to join Yes on their 40th anniversary tour, his son Oliver replaced him!), but is also known for his solo work, and his contributions to the BBC series Grumpy Old Men and for Rick’s Place, his former radio show on Planet Rock that aired until December 2010.
He has recorded with some truly rock greats, including Black Sabbath, David Bowie, T. Rex, Elton John and Cat Stevens.
