One of rock’s true legends, Alice Cooper, will be performing a concert in Tel Aviv this June!
It will be the rocker’s first ever show in Israel, and will take place on the 16th June at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. Tickets are expected to start at 299 shekels – call *8780 for more details!
Alice Cooper is, of course, somewhat of a rock icon, and one of the pioneers of 70s rock, helping smash the the preconceptions of the then typical rock band with the help of crazy makeup, plenty of fake blood, boa constrictors, baby dolls, swords, and yes, even live chickens. It’s no wonder he was known as the Godfather of Shock Rock!
Perhaps most famous (at least in our house!) for his 80s classic Poison, he was originally part of the Alice Cooper band that rocked the world in the very early 70s and who were responsible for the hit School’s Out. He went solo in the mid-70s, taking on the name of the band for himself (he continues to pay the band members a yearly royalty fee for the name!).
Still recording, acting, and living life to the fullest, the man is a legend!
