The legendary French-Algerian singer-musician Enrico Macias has confirmed a date with his beloved Tel Aviv, on April 29, 2012!
Enrico Macias has been around since the early 1960s, and his love for Israel – and his home country Algeria – has always been loud and proud. Born into a Jewish family in Algeria, he left during the Algerian War of Independence in 1961, and has never been allowed to return, despite a number of efforts, largely because of his staunch support for Israel.
The concert will be at the northern Tel Aviv venue, Hangar 11. Tickets are priced at between 179-319 shekels.
