Legendary DJ Fatboy Slim, otherwise known as Norman Cook, will be performing a one-off show this coming March in Tel Aviv!
The man behind some of the funkiest electro tunes of the 90s will be performing at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv on March 12. Tickets will be priced between 249-279 shekels. And yes, this will be his first ever gig in Israel.
We remember his first steps in the music biz, as part of the sorely underrated The Housemartins, but after their breakup in 1988 it wasn’t long before he started making a name for himself in the electronic music scene. And then came monster tracks like Praise You, Right Here Right Now, and Weapon of Choice, followed by numerous MTV Video Awards, and 2 Brit Awards.
Fatboy Slim has also performed at some of the funkiest, raviest shows out there, including to a monster crowd of some 250,000 ravers in his home town of Brighton back in 2002. He also regularly plays at the biggest of them all, the Glastonbury Festival, appearing in 2016 for the first time on the legendary John Peel stage.
This is a slice of what to expect…
