Indie legends Jesus and Mary Chain performed live in Tel Aviv last night and the night before, and according to reports, rocked The Barby (the venue they performed at)!
They might be a little less rebellious and violent (many of their gigs in the 80s were cut short because of riots and violence), but still know how to churn out the hits. And rebellion might long have flown the nest, but they still have plenty of attitude, which is what it’s all about!
They also had a surprise guest in Ninette (or Ninet), one of Israel’s biggest female stars, who we actually think is one fine rock chick. See the video below for Ninet performing with the Jesus and Mary Chain. Not quite Scarlet Johansson (Scarlet has been known to get up on stage with them to blast out Just Like Honey), but close enough for us!
