French-American jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux is returning to Israel for a November concert in Tel Aviv!
Peyroux, who first performed in Israel back in 2009, will be performing one concert at Reading 3 in Tel Aviv, on November 11.
She’ll be here as part of her tour promoting the new album Standing on the Rooftop, which is her sixth studio album. The album was mostly written by herself, though does include some covers, including the Beatles’ Martha My Dear.
Comparisons with Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald have followed her career, largely because of her unique vocal style. She is also highly regarded for a number of highly successful songs produced in the past ten years, including I’m All Right and her cover of Leonard Cohen’s Dance me to the end of love.
One not to miss! Tickets cost 199 shekels, for more details call *9066.
