If guitars are your game, then the very first International Guitar Day in Israel is the perfect place for you this December!
Featuring THREE of the world’s most talented guitarists, this promises to be one magical evening. The date to mark in your diaries: 12.12.12! The place: Reading 3, in Tel Aviv Port.
The three guitarists, Israeli Oz Noy, Preston Reed, and Andy Timmons, each have their own style and unique talent to wow you with!
Oz Noy – started his career in the clubs and pubs of Tel Aviv, before moving to New York, where he has worked with some of the biggest names in the guitar world, including Roger Glover of Deep Purple, and Warren Haynes of Gov’t Mule/Allman Brothers fame. Oz will be opening the evening with his band Twisted Blues Band.
Preston Reed – legendary American fingerstyle guitarist who revolutionized guitar playing (see the clip below). He can currently be seen playing in Europe with other guitar greats Andy McKee and John Gomm as part of the Guitar Masters project.
