Those 80s pop legends Duran Duran will be finally performing in Tel Aviv this summer!
The boys from Birmingham were originally lined up for a gig back in 2011 (oh, how time flies!) but eventually bailed on us due to Simon Le Bon falling sick. They did say they would be back and it looks like they’re delivering!
The date is scheduled for June 10, 2015 with no tickets or venue yet confirmed, according to local press this morning. They will be here as part of the promotions behind their upcoming studio album, scheduled for release after the summer.
Duran Duran were of course, part of the amazing 80s scene in England, and have gone on to sell over 100 million records. Back in my day they were HUGE I tell ya!
Their biggest hits include “Girls on Film”, “Save a Prayer” and “Ordinary World”.
FACT TO ASTONISH YOU: Lead singer Simon LeBon volunteered on a kibbutz back in the 80s and the band even wrote a song called Tel Aviv. There you go, you knew they’d be back!
