One of the music world’s biggest names, Mariah Carey, is lining up an August concert in Israel!
According to local press, the American singer was recently wowed by the locals when she popped over for a quick visit, and has now added Israel to her current tour list.
The concert looks set to take place on August 18, at the Amphi Park in Rishon Letzion (around 30 minutes from Tel Aviv). This will be her first ever concert in Israel!
Tickets are yet to be announced, but as soon as they are, we’ll post details here.
Throughout her career, Carey has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In 2012, Carey was ranked second on VH1’s list of the “100 Greatest Women in Music”. She has also won five Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 14 Billboard Music Awards.
