Brazilian musical legend Sergio Mendes lines up TWO gigs in Israel!

Sergio Mendes IsraelBrazilian bossa nova legend Sergio Mendes is coming to Israel in June to play two concerts!

The first concert takes place at the Caesarea Amphitheater on June 23, the second gig takes place at the Zappa Club in Tel Aviv on June 24.

Mendes is married to Gracinha Leporace, who has performed with him since the early 1970s. Mendes has also collaborated with many artists through the years, including the Black Eyed Peas, with whom he partnered on his big hit Mas Que Nada, re-recorded in 2006.

The concerts are part of his celebratory tour commemorating the 50th year of the release of his huge breakthrough album Brasil 66.
