Flying to the Holy Land

When flying into Israel, you’ll almost certainly end up landing at Ben Gurion airport, just outside Tel Aviv. If you arrive during the day, the view as your plane comes in to land is quite amazing. At night it’s not quite the same, but you can still get a good idea of the vastness of Tel Aviv and its neighbourhoods.

The videos below should give you a good idea of what to expect when landing in Israel. Don’t be surprised if, upon landing, some passengers burst into song and start clapping! It will depend a bit on your fellow passengers, but I’ve seen it a couple of times on my various flights. And watch out for the greenery in the first video, it might surprise you!
