Wow, the summer in Israel is proving to be a long and expensive one, especially if you’re a music fan! With a long list of performers already scheduled for concerts in Israel in 2009, it looks like it’s now the turn of the Rolling Stones to throw their hat into the ring. As yet there’s no confirmed date or venue, but their production agency, Marcel Avram, seemed to have confirmed the story this morning. Let’s hope it comes true. Not sure whether my bank manager is cringing or rubbing his hands in glee at the extra interest on my overdraft undoubtedly on its way…as soon as we hear confirmation we’ll be posting them into our concert guide.
The Stones were last expected to perform here in 2007, but that announcement was deemed a little premature and the Stones never did make it to the Holy Land. So, fingers crossed…
