The summer of 2009 looks like being a real classic for Israeli music fans, as well as for those of you visiting Israel and looking for some great entertainment. In addition to the already looong list of stars set to perform over the coming months, two more names can now be added: Lady Gaga and the Kaiser Chiefs. They’ll both be performing at the Non Stop Musix festival in Tel Aviv on 19-20 August.
Lady Gaga has probably been the world’s biggest pop sensation over the last 12 months or so and it’s great to see an artist currently making the headlines in the world’s music press over here, live and kicking in the Holy Land.
The Kaiser Chiefs are a cool band from Leeds, England, who’ve made it big in the UK over the last 3 or 4 years. I’ve quite liked them since their very first single “Predict a Riot”, so it’ll be great to see them here in Tel Aviv.
