So the rumor-mill has started once again, with some very hot rumors in the Israeli press today that Bruce Springsteen will be performing in Israel in July.
Apparently, the venue has been booked, all that’s left is to ink the contract. Which is, allegedly, almost done.
But we have been here before, of course. Back in 2013 he was rumored to be lining up a Tel Aviv gig but that story was quickly forgotten about.
What might be the decisive factor is Bruce’s commitment to Israeli promoters that if he does a European tour he’ll come to Israel. This summer he’ll be reaching southern Europe, including Italy and Portugal, hence the belief that something is in the works…
Fingers crossed, eh?! If this does happen, it’s certainly likely to be THE concert of the summer! Forget about Elton John and a rumored gig from Madonna, Bruce-mania is likely to hit Israel big time!
