Brian Wilson, the legendary lead singer of 60s mega-band The Beach Boys, will be performing in Israel as part of a world tour celebrating 50 years since their revolutionary album Pet Sounds was released.
The concert is scheduled for the Ranaana Amphitheater (a little off the standard concert venue track, but home to a series of Backstreet Boys concerts last year) on 8 June. Tickets start at 225 shekels, call *9066 for more details.
The concert is set to feature Beach Boys band members Blondie Chaplin and Al Jardine, and together they’ll perform all the tracks of the 1966 album Pet Sounds. Expect to hear classics like Sloop John B, God Only Knows, and Wouldn’t It Be Nice among many others.
The Beach Boys were scheduled to perform in 2014 but canceled. Let’s hope this concert remains on the summer concert list!
