In her very first performance in Israel, legendary Barbra Streisand had Tel Aviv in raptures last night!
Some 16,000 turned up for her sellout concert at Tel Aviv’s Bloomfield Stadium (and which has led to an additional concert for tomorrow night), and they weren’t disappointed.
Still in fine voice at 71, Streisand brought the two and a half hour concert to a close with a rousing version of the Israeli national anthem, HaTikva. Always a crowd pleaser, singing this in Hebrew…
