Legendary composer and pianist Burt Bacharach has confirmed he’ll be performing a concert in Israel this July!
Now 84, Burt Bacharach will be performing at the Shuni Amphitheater in Binyamina, Israel as part of the European leg of his world tour. The concert will take place on July 2, with tickets costing between 299 – 449 shekels. Call 03-5107070 for details.
Burt Bacharach is behind some of pop’s ultimate classics, including Magic Moments, Walk On By, I Say A Little Prayer, and What The World Needs Now is Love. Many of his songs were originally written for Dionne Warwick together with his songwriting partner Hal David, but he also went on to write for Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, and others.
He has had 73 Top 40 hits in the US, and 52 Top 40 hits in the UK.
