Legendary British pop icon Sir Cliff Richard has confirmed he’ll be performing a concert in Tel Aviv in July!
UPDATE: Due to demand, an additional concert has been set up for July 13!
The veteran crooner, now 72, will be performing at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv on July 11. There are currently no details about ticket prices, as soon as we get them we’ll post them here!
Believe it or not, the concert will mark exactly 50 years since Sir Cliff (known as Harry Rodger Webb to his mum) first performed in Israel, and some 25 years since his last appearance in the Holy Land.
A long wait, but worth it for the man who has sold some 250 million records worldwide, whose career has spanned some FIVE decades, and whose posters adorned my sister’s walls back in the 80s…
Some of his best known songs include: Summer Holiday, Devil Woman, We Don’t Talk Anymore, The Young Ones, and Congratulations. Truly a British institution, Cliff Richard was even named by the BBC as one of the 100 Greatest Britons ever.
