The 14th Israel Piano Festival: see some of Israel’s biggest stars tickling the ivories!

Israel Piano FestivalIf you want to catch some of the biggest names in the Israeli music business, the 14th Israel Piano Festival is the place to catch them!

Taking place at the mother of all culture in Tel Aviv, the Suzanne Della Center in the magical Neve Tzedek neighborhood, this amazing festival will take place over November 7-11, and feature some 35 performances from some 150 different artists.

Among the usual suspects (Shlomo Gronich, Arkadi Duchin, and Shlomi Shaban), expect to see other big names, including Mofa HaArnavim Shel Doctor Casper (who have translated all their popular pieces into unique  piano arrangements), Israel’s very own rock chick Ninet (who performed with the Jesus and Mary Chain just last week and who is performing at the Piano Festival for the first time), and legend Danny Sanderson (who is celebrating 40 years since his first release with legendary Israeli band Kavaret).

Some of the highlights to watch out for from a very full lineup:

  • November 7: Mosh Ben Ari and guests (at 20:00), Shlomi Shaban (at 22:30)
  • November 8: Ninet (at 20:00), Jeremy Kaplan (at 22:30)
  • November 9: Arkadi Duchin (at 13:00), Danny Sanderson (20:30), Eric Berman (at 20:30), Acollective (at 23:00)
  • November 10: Three different shows for kids, all at 11:00 (including a performance from Mati Caspi), Shlomo Gronich together with RedBand (at 22:30), Mofa HaArnavim Shel Doctor Casper (at 22:30)
  • November 11: Miri Masika with Kobi Aflalo (at 21:00) – this show is at the Noga Theater Hall in Jaffa.
