Turkish band Baba Zula, famed for their alternative psychedelic sound that has wowed audiences since 1996, are coming to Israel for the first time in November 2012!
Despite recent tensions between Turkey and Israel, Baba Zula’s concert is perhaps an opportunity to bridge the tension in one of the best ways possible – great music!
Known for their unique psychedelic sound, which combines traditional Turkish instruments, electronic beats, reggae and dub, much of their unique sound is from the saz, a Turkish bouzouki-like stringed instrument. Their concerts are renowned for their energy, including dance, traditional costume, belly-dancing, art and, of course, music…
They will be performing at the Barby Club on the 9th November. Tickets are priced at 150 shekels only, for more details call 03-5107070.
