Jethro Tull return to rock Israel with THREE concerts in September 2012!

Jethro Tull Israel2012Legendary rockers Jethro Tull are returning to Israel for three concerts in September!

As part of their world tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their breakthrough album Thick As A Brick, the band, which now consists largely of founding lead singer and flutist Ian Anderson, will be landing in Jerusalem, Haifa, and Tel Aviv. They are expected to perform songs from the original album, as well as the Thick As A Brick 2 album, released earlier this year.

The British rockers might have an element of “past their sell-by date”, but they are still one of the biggest musical acts in history, with some 60 million records sold. During their heyday in the 1970s, they were one of the biggest live acts around. They still have a huge fan base, including here in Israel, and have performed here previously.

Tickets start at 169 shekels. The concerts scheduled:

  • Jerusalem, 6th September at the Old Station Compound. Call *6226 for details.
  • Haifa, 7th September at the Congress Center. Call 04-8418411 for details.
  • Tel Aviv, 8th September at Hangar 11. Call *2274 for details.

Definitely one to catch, if you want to check out a living legend…
