The Age of the Dinosaurs exhibition, which has toured much of the world already, is finally coming to Tel Aviv!
If you’re looking for something to wow the kids (and even the bigger kids), this month long exhibition, running from July 26 to August 31, will feature 34 enormous, animated dinosaurs. That’s right, animated, meaning they will be moving and roaring, just like you’d expect from a prehistoric legend!

The Age of the Dinosaurs exhibition will take place at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv Port. You have to buy tickets in advance, and tickets range from 85 shekels, to a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) for 280 shekels (infants under the age of 1 get in free). NOT cheap, but there are various discounts available, check with your credit card for example (if you’re an Israeli citizen). For further details on tickets call *2274 or 03-5620255.
Exhibition visitors can also catch a movie telling the story of how the earth was created and all about the period when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and there will also be a virtual fossil-hunt, with the chance to “dig” for dinosaur fossils! Opening hours
The Age of the Dinosaur exhibition will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 09:00 to 22:00, and on Fridays between 09:00 and 16:00. The exhibition also runs in three sessions: the morning session runs from 09:00-13:00, the midday session runs from 13:00-17:00, and the evening session runs from 17:00-22:00.
