American indie rockers The Walkmen, the band behind one of the much acclaimed albums of the year, Heaven, have confirmed a concert in Tel Aviv!
The Walkmen, all of whom are from Washington and who started back in 2000, have scheduled their first ever gig in Israel at The Barby Club in Tel Aviv on 14 August. They’ll be here to promote Heaven, their seventh album, as well as to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their breakout album, Everyone who pretended to like me is gone (which drew lots of praise and favorable comparisons with the early days of U2).
