The world’s greatest opera, Carmen, will be in Israel next week for three special performances at the legendary desert fortress of Masada.
This unique performance is definitely one of the highlights of an event-packed summer, but if you don’t have tickets, you can still catch the premier show LIVE in full effect – and best of all, FREE!
The premier takes place at Masada on June 7, but if you live or are staying near Gan HaShlosha in the north, Netanya’s amphitheater on the promenade just north of Tel Aviv, or the Beersheva Museum plaza in the south, you’ll be delighted to hear YOU too can be at the premier!
These three locations will be screening open air broadcasts of the opera from 20:00. The performance is scheduled to start at 21:00 and end four hours later. The interval will take the audience behind the scenes at Masada and include interviews with some of the cast.
The screenings will include both Hebrew and English subtitles.
