It looks like May is going to be packed full of goodies – now Steve Hackett, the former Genesis guitarist, is lined up to perform at Hangar 11, in Tel Aviv, on May 5th!
The British singer-songwriter and guitarist, who was a member of rock legends Genesis from 1970 – 1977, is scheduled to perform (on the same night as the slightly more modern and happening Simple Plan) as part of his tour to promote his new album Beyond the Shrouded Horizon.
Since leaving Genesis, he was also part of rock supergroup GTR, but has primarily concentrated on his solo career and has released albums and toured on a regular basis since. A number of guitar legends, including Brian May and Eddie Van Halen list Steve Hackett as one of their big influences. He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010.
We love a bit of guitar at igoogledisrael.com and are impressed Steve Hackett, a true guitar great, is coming to Tel Aviv – bless ya Steve!
At the time of writing this there is no news on concert tickets, but as soon as we get any info, we’ll let you know.
Here’s a taste of what Steve can do for you when he’s in the mood…
