So for a while we’ve known about Spencer Tunick’s plan to photograph as many Israeli tits and arses (yes, I’m British) as he can, and get away with calling it an “Installation”…but now it’s official, mark it in your diaries: September 17th 2011!

That’s right, September 17th. The day to head down to the Dead Sea if you want your five minutes of glory. And yes, Spencer is still looking for volunteers to strip off, though thousands have apparently already signed up.
For those of you interested in volunteering, bare (he he) in mind that you won’t be in your birthday suit for too long. Spencer and his crew will guide you into place and snap away and get it all done within a “short period of time”. And in exchange for your stripping off, you will receive a limited edition print of the installation. Nice.
For those of you thinking about going down to have a peep, you’ll probably find the whole area closed off to only those participating.
