If you love your jazz, head to Jerusalem this December for the annual International Jerusalem Jazz Festival!
The festival takes place at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, and lasts for 3 jazz-filled days (over December 14-16). It’s the perfect place for some jazz tunes, with the sounds of many international and local jazz musicians filling the art galleries of this must-see museum. And the cool, chilly nights of Jerusalem sound so much better with top-class jazz swirling around your ears…
Expect to see 5 original productions, inspiring artistic collaborations, surprise pop-up performances throughout the museum, master classes, and closing out with free jam sessions into the wee hours of the night (held at the Yellow Submarine club).
Among the names to catch this year: Rickie Lee Jones and the Non-Standards Project, Jeff Ballard, Jason Lindner, Mark Turner, Too Many Zooz, Anat Fort, Ilan Salem, and the Avishai Cohen Quartet.
