In addition to enjoying the delights of the Red Sea, another awesome highlight of this tour is the sunrise climb to the top of Mount Sinai. It’s a long climb up, which starts with a 23:00 departure from the Sinai beach resort. but it’s totally worth it! This is the site where God handed Moses the Ten Commandments, and you can almost feel the sacredness of this place as you make the climb up in the dark – expect bucketloads of pilgrims to accompany you on the way up.
On the way down from the summit, you get to wander through the grounds of St Catherine’s Monastery, which among other things, hosts the legendary Burning Bush!
