Just click on the pic below to go straight to the live view (and yes, you can zoom in and out as you please, and go left, right, up or down, or even upside down (only kidding!)):
With its unique and stunning views of the Old City, the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel, the city’s leading deluxe hotel, has installed a cutting edge Panomax, 360-degree panorama camera on its rooftop that will provide a 24/7 live video feed of the city through the hotel’s website. Users from around the world will be able to access the view of Jerusalem’s old city and skyline with just the click of a button!
The Inbal is the first hotel in Israel to feature the device, which has already been placed in a number of scenic tourist sites throughout Europe. The Panomax is a highly sophisticated device with many advanced features such as “Points of Interest” highlighting visible tourist attractions, time lapse videos and a one-click accessible archive that lets the users easily see and interact with past video footage. Online visitors to the site will be able to, among other things, learn about locations in the city and to zoom in on any picture and order poster prints. Just click on the picture above and follow the instructions.
“The Inbal experience is interwoven with the city of Jerusalem,” said Inbal Jerusalem Hotel Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Alex Herman. “We are privileged to have a beautiful view of one of the most unique cities in the world. We hope to give our worldwide audience access to the view so that they can interact with, and connect with our great city of Jerusalem. In addition, the fact that the site will be saving all the footage allows users to access a ‘live archive’ of the city.”
