International Day of Faith in Nazareth

Nazareth - International Day of Faith

The year of faith that started back in October 2012 will come to its conclusion in an International Day of Faith on November 17, held at Mount Precipice in Nazareth.

The event will begin at 09:00 am with an artistic program – liturgy and chants from different choruses of the Catholic community. At 11:00 a Mass will take place which will be held by senior religious figures – the Latin patriarch, the Bishop of Galilee and an honorable figure from the Vatican. The event will conclude with a festive grand happening with local businesses offering food, drinks and souvenirs on the mountain and/or in the city center. And while you’re in the city center, don’t miss our guide to the best things to see and do in Nazareth.

Thousands of pilgrims are expected from around the world in order to close the Year of Faith, which has been an opportunity for all Catholics to rediscover a journey of faith.

The International Day of Faith is free to attend, though you do have to register in advance.  Unfortunately, the process of registration is still not open, so we’ll update here when we hear more.
